If you arrive in the morning hours there will be time for a city tour before driving north to the Volcanoes National Park; home of the gorillas. You will check-in to your accommodation and rest. In the early morning, you will have breakfast and packed lunch before leaving for the park headquarters. Once there, you will enjoy a cup of coffee coupled with an epic cultural performance before being briefed on how the gorilla trek will be carried out. The gorilla trek will take a maximum of 8 hours after which you will proceed to the lodge to check out. You will be given a packed snack for your drive south to the airport.
